What is StreamScanner?

StreamScanner is a free tool that answers one simple question: where can I watch this? Search for any movie or TV show and instantly see which streaming services carry it — across 60+ countries. If you already subscribe to Netflix, Disney+, or any other service, StreamScanner shows you where your title is available for free on your existing subscriptions, no extra rental fees required.

What's in v1.0

• Instant search — type a title, pick from results, and see availability in seconds
• 60+ countries — not just the US. Find out if a title streams in the UK, Germany, Japan, Brazil, and dozens more
• Service filtering — select the services you subscribe to and get personalized results. Your picks are saved between sessions
• Genre browsing — explore new releases and browse by genre (action, comedy, drama, sci-fi, and more) right from the homepage
• Ratings at a glance — IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes scores on every card so you can decide what to watch faster
• Region-aware results — your country is auto-detected and prioritized, with an option to change it manually

A note on data

We're running on free and low-cost tiers of multiple data providers for v1.0. That means the data is good — but not perfect. As StreamScanner grows, we'll upgrade to paid tiers for richer, faster, and more complete availability data. If you notice a missing title or an incorrect listing, bear with us.
